Arrival and transportation

The trip officially commences on July 21st, with participants arriving throughout the day and evening from various European locations. Below, you'll find a list of transportation options to and from Chamonix and Zermatt, connecting with the airports that most participants are flying into and out of for the trip. Additionally, we've provided a list​ of families and their arrival times to streamline the coordination of private transportation sharing. Since we did not want to publish contact information online, please ask us to connect you if you want to share private transportation.

GENEVA AIRPORT

Getting to and from Geneva Airport to Chamonix is quite straightforward, with several transportation options to suit different preferences and budgets. For a personalized experience, private transfers are available, albeit at a higher cost. Alternatively, more economical choices like trains or buses are also viable.

ZURICH AIRPORT

When it comes to transportation from Zurich Airport to Chamonix or from Zermatt back to Zurich, private options can be quite costly. It's wise to explore the extensive train network linking these destinations instead. Zurich Airport features a convenient train stop, facilitating smooth connections. Be sure to allocate ample time for transfers and plan to reach the airport at least three hours prior to your departure flight from Zermatt. This might entail staying an extra night in Zurich to ensure a stress-free journey.
